In a blog posting that probably reveals more about me than should ever be known, upon seeing the news that Oscar Arias, the president of Costa Rica, who has acted as mediator in the Honduras coup crisis, has proposed that Manuel Zelaya be returned to the post from which he was ejected through military force, the first thing I felt was a thorough chill and the conviction that mine eyes were gazing upon one of the 10,000 Vulcans that escaped the genocidal judgment meted upon them by Nero.
